From the chalet in summer

Stéphane, high-mountain guide, and myself, hiking guide, offer to share with you our passion for the mountains by accompanying you in these activities.

The proximity of the Vanoise National Park and the surrounding natural reserves offers a multitude of opportunities for mountain hiking. No need to be a confirmed sportsman or sportswoman to dip your feet into a mountain lake or go up to find marmottes, chamois and ibex. Just a desire to escape the valley to follow the many paths that cross our beautiful peaks. From 4 years.

The surprising discovery of a magical setting.  With a minimum of effort, you climb roped, with crampons fixed on your mountain boots so you can wonder at the grandeur of the mountains and the beauty of the ice.  The proximity of the glacier of Grande Motte means in only a ½ day you can take your first steps in safety. Access by funicular railway. Children from 12 years.

Rock Climbing

The chalet is close to several teaching walls for progressively learning placements and gestures and learning rope safety techniques.

In winter and in bad weather the excellent indoor wall at Tignes means practice is assured and enjoyable. Children from 6 years.

Whether for beginning or improving or for realising the summit of your dreams, we are located in a privileged setting. The easiest: the Pointe de la Traversière, the Grande Sassière, the Grande Aiguille Rousse and the grandest: Mont Pourri, the Aiguille des Glaciers, the Tsanteleina, the Grande Casse and also for a preparation for an ascent of Mont Blanc, of Cervin and other great summits in France or elsewhere.

Via Ferrata

Originating in Italy, via ferrata allowed soldiers to overcome the steepest passes thanks to these metallic structures sealed into the rock.  Today, the via ferrata allows you to cross high cliffs for fun in places of renowned beauty.

You progress roped, using the steps, bars and other artifices with a maximum of security. May be enjoyed as a family, children from 10 years.
